Work Schedule:
40 hours per week. Day shift, 8 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00AM and 4:30PM. Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. No mandatory shift changes and no call. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:
• This position may be eligible for a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus.
• Additional components of compensation may include:
o Weekend differential
• Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) to:
• Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, analyz and prepare descriptive report following procedure.
• Complete daily laboratory operations with the main emphasis on high quality patient related procedures which adhere to guidelines and technical standards.
• Interact with patients and families regarding procedural direction and information, developing patient rapport and confidence.
• Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal recording, adapting procedure to particular clinical circumstances.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program Required
  • Four (4) years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation from an electroneurodiagnostic tech program in addition to the experience below.

Work Experience

  • 1 year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
